American folk owe it big to the Greeks. Let’s face it: A world without Frank Zappa, Uncle Jesse from Full House, feta cheese, and those spinach stuffed pastry thingies with a name nobody can pronounce (spano-go-pi-whatever) is a world few of us would want to live in. That’s why it would be Greek to us if you missed the 50th annual Greater Phoenix Greek Festival. The three-day fest promises enough Greek food, art, music, dance, and hedonistic behavior to get you through the remainder of the year.
