“You know Shaq well?” Cedric the Entertainer asks George Lopez while discussing All Star Comedy Jam, the comedy show he produced with the ex-Phoenix Suns baller last year, “Shaq is like a big kid. He like to Twitter and text and all that stuff – and he got them big fingers. Every now and then you get messages from him like, ‘Hey man, MM5533.’”

True to his moniker, Cedric’s knack for finding ha-ha’s in the humdrum has been making people laugh since his 1992 stand-up appearance on It’s Showtime at the Apollo. From there, the Missouri native’s went on to co-star on the WB’s The Steve Harvey Show, play Eddie in the Barbershop films, and catch Spike Lee’s eye as one of four featured comedians in The Original Kings of Comedy.
