Really, how could we resist the message on this hand-stamped pillow from Joshua By Oak?
We figured the name had to belong to a hipster living on Oak Street, when we learned this etsy.com seller resides in the Phoenix area. Instead, JBO is a woman named Debra, who writes on her profile:
Joshua By Oak, the name I chose for my design line, is a metaphor for myself. I grew up in Minnesota among the Oak trees and have lived in the stunning Sonoran Desert among the Joshua trees since graduating from college. Perhaps my design aesthetic comes from the saying “Less is more,” the notion that clarity and simplicity of vision lead to good design.
Nicely put. In any case, we love Debra’s hand-stamped pillows. You can check out the (edit) one here and peruse her shop here.
