Club DJs of the P-Town, we feel your pain. You endlessly work the same local joints week after endless week, slaving over the turntables and beat-matching your brains out for a bunch of selfish and snotty hotties, all the while dreaming of blowing this burg for far-flung destinations and superstardom à la Z-Trip or DJ Radar. Markus Schulz is another spinster success story, as the German-born trance DJ spent most of the late ’90s working wax at the now-defunct nightspot The Works and hosting “The Edge Factor” on KEDJ before remixing artists like Fat Boy Slim, Depeche Mode, or Everything But The Girl and landing jet-setting gigs around the globe from Ibiza to Kuala Lumpur. Schulz might even offer you some advice when his visits Cream Stereo Lounge for a special set. Turner and Heit, Matty, and Chris Forsyth are also scheduled to spin.
