If ever there was a dood who personifies the libertine lifestyle laid out in the Shop Boyz jam “Party Like a Rock Star,” it’s local DJ/impresario William Fucking Reed. Case in point, Reed celebrates his 30th year of drawing breath with his Dirty 30 Birthday Fucking Party. It promises to be an all-night hedonistic DJ hipster hullabaloo set to a soundtrack of indie, electro, and dance rock from NYC’s Larry Tee (a.k.a. the progenitor of electroclash), former Hot Pink residents Denny Le-Nimh and Dirty Dave, as well as Sleazy Sean, Mykill, and Kevin the Makeout Bandit.
