One of Arizona’s most popular cultural events celebrates nearly 60 years of artistry and crowd-pleasing activities. Now in its 57th year, the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market brings chefs and dancers alongside nearly 600 artists — ranging from painters to fashion designers, and everything in between.
“Celebrating the Art of Basketry” is this year’s theme, with an emphasis on the intricate time-consuming work — demonstrated by basketmakers and weavers from across the country.
The all-day event lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, at the Heard Museum, 2301 North Central Avenue.
