We’ve had enough of supposedly macho guys sitting around comparing the size of their poles. We guarantee they can’t compare to the athletes throwing huge logs at the Arizona Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Gathering at Steele Indian School Park.
Known as the caber toss, this sport was invented when invading English soldiers forbid medieval Scotsmen from training with metal weapons. The biggest threat to your manhood? The competitors do it all while wearing plaid skirts.
In addition to sporting games, the event will feature Irish step dancing, bagpipers, and a live performance by Celtic rock band Traveler.
