Nary a sleigh glides through our dry desert streets. Same goes for appearances of snowflakes (rare and mythical), frosted window panes (huh?), and the freezing temperatures to create them. But Christmas spirit won’t be in short supply during Visions of Sugar Plums, a shopping-centric luncheon at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort.
Models sporting wintry looks from Carolina Herrera, Ted Baker, Max Mara, and White House/Black Market, courtesy of Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Fashion Square, will take to the catwalk. And Ballet Arizona dancers will perform the pas de deux from The Nutcracker’s “Arabian dance.” A boutique full of handcrafted gifts will be open to peruse, and a menu of cold-weather delights, including winter squash ravioli and sugarplum raspberry coulis, will be served.
