Find out why all those folks who live in old homes in downtown Phoenix are so dang house-proud at this weekend’s 24th annual F.Q. Story Historic Home Tour. The event takes place up and down Story’s Lynwood Street, where historic bungalows, Spanish Revival, Tudor, and Transitional Ranch homes will throw open their doors and let you poke around in them.
Architecture fans, curious suburbanites, and plain old Nosy Parkers will descend on Phoenix’s oldest historic district this evening for a festive holiday kickoff featuring Christmas carolers and a luminaria display. Trolley service, food vendors, and a crafts fair are part of the fun.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
