If your hip-kid pride is offended that Night & Day is covering David Archuleta, you can just kinda eff off.

Seriously, lighten up. We all have our guilty pleasures, and taking your cool factor too seriously is really, well, not cool. Archuleta, one of our favorite contenders on season 7 of American Idol (not to mention his winning performances on Star Search as a child) was born to a salsa dancer/singer from Honduras, so there’s no denying that the kid’s got soul. Plus, he’s spent his childhood and adolescence wowing crowds with his talent – which he will do for you, too, as long as you drop the music-snobbery bit – when he performs at Marquee.
