Ignite Phoenix is all about locals who are (often oddly) obsessed with something that they want to share. Our own Jonathan McNamara presented on building miniature giant robots a few years ago. Really.

You’ll be asked to share your idea/passion with a crowd for no longer than five minutes. You can use a slideshow, a few props, whatever and after the conference, your idea will be shared on the ignite website for all to see.

This is the eighth Ignite Phoenix. Check out rules and guidelines, examples of current submissions, past presentations, and submit your own on the Ignite Phoenix website. They promise it’s 100 percent free and 99 percent painless.
