Fair warning to all vintage, craft, recycled, and handmade fiends — Sticker Club Girl (also known as Lisa Jacobs) is back and opening shop with a few creative friends on Grand Avenue.
Jacobs says Indie ArtHouse, a creative co-op and workspace, will be opening in the now-defunct Sweets & Beats space this Friday.
You can expect a ton of Jacobs’ self-made fashions as well as a selection of her extensive vintage collection (which she admits to hoarding for the past few years). as well as goods from the ArtHouse’s other members including Damian Jim, Astrid Guri Olafsen, Tina McReynolds, Kristina Kuhl, Hristi Stoilcheva, Michelle Ponce, Alyssa Shevlin, Brian Harrison, Estrella DeLuna, Joseph Cuevas, and Ethan Brown.
Jacobs says the location will be open for First Friday, and that regular store hours (Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) will start the next day.
The group also plans to host get-togethers for local artists as well as workshops, classes, and weekly open studios for collaboration and community-building.
