Puerto Rican culture, including dance exhibitions and lessons, live salsa music by Orquesta Tabaco y Ron and Chino Espinoza y su Duenos de Son, and the boxing challenge corner — featuring a meet and greet with several Puerto Rican boxers — will be on display Sunday when the sixth annual Puerto Rican Festival comes to Tempe. Puerto Rico’s food is famous, too, with dishes such as arroz con pollo, mofongo and cuchifrito. More than 25 vendors will serve up these and other traditional food and drink and also sell items imported from the island. Kids can get their faces painted, hit the jumping castles, color, and more in the kid’s zone.
