The Arizona Cardinals won their division. Something’s very wrong with that. Or very right. We can’t decide. Whatever else it is, it’s something the Cards haven’t accomplished since International Women’s Year. That would be 1975 for those not up on your feminist history.

Speaking of the fairer sex, the team looked more like schoolgirls than football players in their recent whippings by the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles (teams that, not coincidentally, lie outside the weak-sister NFC West). Part of us thinks that’s just wrong. The other part thinks the world – and Cardinals football – is right back where it should be. Ahhhh!

Next up for the ladies in red? The Minnesota Vikings and All-World running back Adrian Peterson (pictured).
