$10,000

Here in Night & Day, we love it when people express and share the captivating beauty of human diversity. When public figures such as athletes come out as gay, leading to more understanding and acceptance by everybody. If we can ogle some tight buns and help a theater company stay afloat amid our happy-rainbow dance, that’s just gravy, so to speak.

So we Love! It! that Nearly Naked Theatre is taking advantage of current cultural hot buttons to revive Take Me Out, an award-winning play about pro baseball that was a huge hit (and that’s not even a pun) in its Arizona première almost eight years ago, filling houses and selling the most seats ever for a N2T non-musical at the time.

Call 602-254-2151 or visit www.ticketsphoenixtheatre.com for info and reservations, which start at $24 for performances through Saturday, February 1. Sunday, January 12’s curtain is 6 p.m. at 100 East McDowell Road.

Fri., Jan. 10, 8 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 12, 6 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 19, 2:30 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 26, 8 p.m., 2014
