The macho-man author (real name: Jim Czajkowski) is one of the reigning masters of high-concept action-adventure lit. Think Subterranean, Deep Fathom, Map of Bones, The Judas Strain, and 2008’s The Last Oracle. He also novelized Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Now the former vet is headlining a special signing of his new Sigma Force novel, The Doomsday Key, along with fellow testosterone-driven authors Clive Cussler and Brent Ghelfi. Proceeds from book sales benefit Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library.
