The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $15,000 by August 9.
Every summer, Valley dwellers talk about the heat like it’s something we’ve never dealt with before. And, yes, this Night & Day writer is no exception.
Gawd, can we all just get over it already?
We’re glad to see that the folks behind the Scottsdale Stadium Summer Market have taken the high road by choosing to ignore the heat. The aisles filled with organic produce, meats, and all the things we miss from those fair-weather farmer’s markets are up for grabs every Saturday through the summer. Cider, flowers, free-range eggs, local cheeses, artisan breads, jams, and tamales will also be at the ready.
