The mountain climber/world adventurer came within about 5,000 vertical feet of achieving his “Summit Dream” (summiting the highest peak on each continent) last spring, but he had to turn back at 24,500 feet on Mount Everest when he got frostbite on his fingers. Gusinde shows video and slides from the Everest expedition, and talks about what’s widely considered one of the most challenging seasons on Everest in years.
