If there’s any truth to the saying that DJs are only as good as the music that’s coming out of their speakers, then Chris Lund (a.k.a. Left/Right) might just be one of the best beat-jugglers in the biz. The Texas-born turntable trickster, whose work has been lauded by the likes of Rolling Stone and the Crystal Method, specializes in murky mixes that are populated with bizarre-sounding breakbeats and crackle with intense electro energy that are certain to keep asses moving on the dance floor at Afterlife in Scottsdale, when Lund visits the after-hours club on Friday, November 12. He’s coming to town at the behest of the folks behind Fuse Fridays, who are planning a series of one-off nights across the Valley after having left their longtime home at Bar Smith last month. As such, DJs ekb* and other Fuse residents will warm up the crowd before Lund hits the stage after midnight.
