Trying to relive your glory days is usually a mistake. It typically ends with you becoming that creeper who parties with high school kids.
That cruel fact is what makes today’s game for the Arizona Cardinals so special. When they take on the Carolina Panthers in a rematch of last year’s divisional playoff on Sunday, November 1, Cards fans will get a rare opportunity to relive one of the defining moments of last season’s Super Bowl run. That’s because the Panthers will come to town with the same woeful quarterback situation that plagued them in their crushing defeat last January. While the Panthers boast a strong rushing attack, their lack of a reliable passing game behind the inconsistent Jake Delhomme and continued struggles on defense could very well lead to a game with a pleasantly familiar ending.
