Just like those idiot moths and mosquitoes that get fried by bug zappers, we often succumb to the bright and shiny. We regularly cook ourselves in pods lined with UV rods despite the fact that we live in one of the sunniest damn places on the planet. We’re addicted. So it’s no wonder that Desert Botanical Garden’s Las Noches de las Luminarias is so popular. With the early sunsets of winter, we need our fix and we need it bad, baby. Thursdays-Sundays, 5:30-9:30 p.m. Starts: Nov. 23. Continues through Dec. 23, 2007
