Just when you thought the Halloween dress-up nonsense was over, it’s time again to spend a hundred bucks on a wig, shoes, and cheap props that you’ll only wear once. Reason being is that “Madonnarama: Night of 1000 Madonnas” is going off. It’s an entire evening of Madonna dance music as well as Madonna music videos pimped by DJ Sterling.
But that’s not all. The incomparable Barbra Seville will join the fun and perform her bodacious drag show at 10 p.m. Also, be sure to pick your favorite Madonna era and put together a costume, because at 1 a.m., the best Madonna wins cash and prizes. Will it be the black-lacy “Lucky Star” look? The white-pantied “Like a Virgin” ensemble? The ’90s cowboy getup? Or how about the “Hung Up” green shirt, bike gloves, and armpit-stains outfit?
