Flash doesn’t win ballgames. Take, for instance, the San Francisco Giants. While other teams signed blockbuster ballers during the off-season, SF added (yawn) Mark DeRosa and Aubrey Huff. Start talking about Giants like Nate Schierholtz and Andres Torres and we’re straight up snoring. However, these no-names have helped land San Fran towards the top of the NL West.
On the other hand, the Arizona Diamondbacks, especially when the bullpen is blowing all of those games, are certainly not boring, but they kind of suck.
