Local nightcrawlers who’ve grown tired of the tepid Tranzylvania but still wanna let their freak flags fly are in luck, as the twisted turntablists of debaucherous DJ collective Sadisco descend upon Homme’s Upstairs Bar for S_. The wicked weekly club night won’t feature the same surreal and salacious themes as Sadisco’s monthly dirty danceathons, but the kooky cadre of DJs – Squalor, Dr. Father, ///she///, and Blonde NOize – will still be kicking back and spinning their favorite industrial, EBM, noise, darkwave, and harsh dance tracks for the creatures of the night who’re in attendance. “There’s no themes, no gimmicks — just music, dancing, and drinking,” says Squalor. “We aren’t putting too much energy into it, other than showing up, dropping some tunes, and hanging out.”
Wednesdays, 10 p.m. Starts: June 20. Continues through Dec. 19, 2007
