We’ve officially hit the dead of summer. And we mean dead. Honestly, at this point, we’d settle for a freaking movie date to get out of the house. Thankfully, SkyyFire Productions goes above and beyond in presenting the Masquerade Ball & Fashion Show.
The dress code mandates formalwear or a masquerade costume, and you must be masked. Intriguing. Nibble complimentary hors d’oeuvres and dessert or tear up the dance floor to Top 40, old school R&B, neo-soul, and other groovy genres. Peep a fashion show of the arrestingly luxe, red-carpet-worthy gowns of Natalia Acosta, in any of which a lady could certainly find a new identity.
The event is 18-and-over and tickets are available in advance or at the door. If you’d rather procrastinate, buy a mask upon entry — Mardi Gras Costume Shop will sell them at the door while supplies last.
