Over the years, local promoters/DJs, Craig Citizen, Kevin Wayman, and Juan Carlos Lenz have shown they know how to throw a mean dance party.
Their latest endeavor, Mean Streets, kicked off in May this summer and took place at Brick every first Friday.
But with cooler climates in the distance, Citizen and posse have decided to make a few cooler changes to the night — changing venues, night of the week, and (ah, yes) its frequency.
Starting October 1st, Mean Streets will take place at The Rogue Bar in Scottsdale and be thrown every other Saturday night throughout the month and every Saturday after.
Judging from the flier (pictured above) we anticipate the party to hub the kind of dance driven debauchery, even iconic hedonist Country Love would dig.
Citizen
says the new night will include indie-faves from past and present
genres and also feature live bands and guest DJs, both local and
international. He also warns us of some serious Halloween and NYE party plans that we’ll undoubtedly keep an eye out for.
