From 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, the Mothers Who Write group will present an afternoon reading of poems, prose, and true stories by the workshop’s latest batch of authors at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art Lounge. This writing group, run by Deborah Sussman of the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and New Times‘ Amy Silverman, is a reoccurring 10-week workshop that gives literary moms a chance to hone their craft and test out their written works on a captive audience. Sat., Nov. 22, 2 p.m., 2014
