As Phoenix continues its celebration with Mid-Century design, Ryan and Kylie Durkin and Jeremy Briddell celebrated the grand opening of Modern Manor, a warehouse of new-to-you finds at 716 W. Hazelwood Street in Phoenix.
Modern Manor’s been open since March; business hours are Wed – Sun, 11 am – 6 pm.
Not everyone’s hobby turns into a business venture, but for the folks behind MM, that’s exactly what happened. As dealers in other antique malls, their collections swelled to the point where they needed the breathing room of a 4000 square foot warehouse.
When you enter you are treated to their signature hexagon patterned wallpaper in gold and yellow that’s original to the space. The owners fell in love with the design and decided to incorporate it into their style and logo.
