Carol Brady and Harriet Nelson really screwed the pooch for future moms by having perfectly coiffed hair, wearing fashionable dresses, and serving home-cooked meals (then again, we know Alice did all of the real work at the Brady house).

The members of Theatre Artists Studio will pay homage to moms Brady-esque and otherwise with Music and Musings on Mother’s Day. The one-off musical revue features classic songs including “Don’t Tell Mama” and Carole King’s “You’ve Got a Friend,” woven together with personal stories from the cast. Afterward, ladies can toast in style at a champagne reception.

So are there any supermoms that live up to the classic TV image? “It’s hard not to think of my own mother, of course,” says director Lynn Edwards. “But our first lady also seems like a pretty good mom to me.”

Reservations recommended. Admission is pay-what-you-can.
