When Steve Nash returned to town and the Phoenix Suns commenced dominance of the NBA regular season, the entire league was altered, as the fast-paced “Nash Rambler” style is now emulated by a dozen b-ball franchises. However, the consensus on whether the system is effective enough to win a championship is still in doubt.

As the Suns are constantly bounced out of the playoffs without even a snuffle of the NBA Finals, maybe it’s time they sacrifice a W here and there so they’ll have something left in the tank following the grueling, 82-game schedule. But, hey, given their erratic, sickly play this season, maybe they’ve already started to employ this tactic. How else to explain a December road loss to the miserable Minnesota Timberwolves? Either way, the Wolves should get rolled during a home-floor rematch.
