Though it certainly sounds plausible, Nederlands Dans Theater 2 is not the sequel to a very important foreign film that didn’t make a blip on your artsy radar. Instead, it’s the super-cool, little-sister troupe to the full-size Nederlands Dans Theater. 2 works with young, emerging dancers as a launch pad, where they get to try out all their weird, innovative ideas. Take a look at what they’re up to when the company performs a four-piece program at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, 7380 East Second Street. Showtime is 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 28.
