We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?
We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Phoenix. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Phoenix.
On the outfit roster are white getups with an orangey gradient on the text for home games, purple away jerseys with orange numbers, and all-orange sleeved alternate jerseys. Each jersey features nine simple rays reminiscent of (albeit less cartoonish than) the Charles Barkley-era streaking sun. The look’s not striking, but it’s sleek.
Folks are in a tizzy over the throwback sleeved set. But if the Suns really wanna shake things up looks-wise, they should probably go extra-retro with teensy shorts like those modeled by a spectacular looking Eddie Johnson, who played for the Suns from 1987 through 1990.
Look. All we’re saying is we would never miss a Suns game (regardless of how terrible or great they are) if the gents on the court wore slightly smaller duds. They’ve got the gams. Why not give the Suns Dancers a well-toned run for their money?
See the new look Suns when their preseason games start on Monday, October 7. Their first home game of the upcoming season is against the Portland Trail Blazers and takes place at US Airways on Wednesday, October 30. See the full schedule at www.nba.com/suns.
