If an eight-page spread in one of the world’s most renowned glossies is a quality measure, then the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) really had a good thing last year.
Nick Cave‘s soundsuits, featured exclusively during SMoCA’s “Meet Me at the Center of the Earth,” are pimped in a big way in the September issue of Vogue.
On newsstand now, the fall fashion edition showcases Cave wearing his curious creations as well as other fancy-pants wares from renowned designers like Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
On September 10, Cave — the fashion department chair of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago — will be opening a soundsuit-centric pop-up shop on Chicago’s south side that will also include this crazy-cool virtual store.
