In a world that should have been, “Neon at Night” would have been the name of a progressive rock band fronted by Rod Serling. Sadly, that world is not ours.
But chances are, prog rock will not be far from your mind as you peruse these sculptural works of harnessed light. The names alone – Kris Waid-Jones’ Breathe Deep in neon, wood, and tobacco; Damian Johnson’s Quarantined in neon, steel, lemons, cloves, and concrete – will inspire you to set your iPod to a Parsons/Floyd shuffle.
Tuesdays-Sundays, 6-9 p.m. Starts: Sept. 22. Continues through Sept. 30, 2010
