Whenever we try to be sexy, we inevitably end up knocking over stacks of high-priced china. Still, there’s hope. Every Saturday, Scandalesque co-founder and “Queen of the Blazing Bustier” Pyra Sutra whips brainy types like us into hot-for-teacher doppelgängers with her Art of the Tease burlesque workshop at Team Yoga. We ducked into a recent session and witnessed Ms. Sutra firmly instructing her spandex-clad students to “get aggressive” as they swung horse crops in big X’s and O’s while bending and strutting in heels and long gloves. Could we really do that? Well, it’s like Jesus said: “Give a girl a boa and she’ll trip over it, but teach her to dance with one and she’ll never pay for drinks again.”
