Since there’s really no better accessory than a cocktail in your hand, each week Jackalope Ranch brings you a tasty adult beverage from one of our favorite drinking establishments, complete with recipe. This week: Nos. 35 & 63 at Windsor.
The low-key, ultra-hip restaurant/bar on Central Avenue in Phoenix has an interesting cocktail menu — no frilly names, just numbers and ingredients. No. 35 is a mixture of excellent Scotch, average Scotch, French liqueur, a lemon twist, and No. 63 combines bourbon, fresh grapefruit, and honey syrup.

No. 35: – 1 oz Dewars – 1 oz St.Germain – 0.5 oz Mist Laphroaig – Fresh Lemon
No. 63:
– 1.5 oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon – Honey syrup, to taste – Fresh grapefruit
Method: – Both shaken, poured, and enjoyed in two glasses with fruit garnishes atop the Windsor’s neighborhood bar.
