Singer-songwriter Tom Brosseau might just be the best thing to come out of The Peace Garden State since the phrase “don’t ‘cha know.” Brosseau’s latest album, Posthumous Success, utilizes his androgynously high-pitched vocals and simple folky arrangements to strike an emotional chord that you forgot a guitar could even hit.

Catch Brosseau live at the Trunk Space. Shelley Short and Ethan Rose share the bill.
