Even when the Arizona Cardinals surprise the universe and make it to the playoffs, the joy is bittersweet. In the back of our minds, we know that NFL Sunday’s sweet kiss is almost over. After January, it’s six boring months of d-bag sports that drive us from our couches into the harsh sunlight behind lawnmowers and hedge clippers. It’s miserable. Shit, we get so desperate that we even settle for (ugh) arena football.

Oh, wait. That puppy is gone now, too. Sigh.

So we’ll definitely be heading for University of Phoenix Stadium for the Cards’ final regular-season game against the Seattle Seahawks, a team with lockdown coverage on a piss-poor season.
