The Stanford Cardinal play football the way it was meant to be played. The Arizona State Sun Devils, with their litany of boneheaded penalties and undisciplined prima donnas, really don’t.
So what happens when the two meet at Sun Devil Stadium? Well, odds-makers will certainly favor the Cardinal, led by head coach Jim Harbaugh’s let’s-ram-it-down-their-throats philosophy and quarterback/dark horse Heisman candidate Andrew Luck. However, the elite Pac-10 club is coming off a tussle with the Arizona Wildcats, so this match-up, as ESPN analysts are forever saying, reeks of a trap game, even though Stanford normally brings its A-game to Frank Kush Field.
