Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
If you have the power of the paranormal running through your veins, you could spend a good chunk of the next year eating for free.
Green New American Vegetarian Restaurant, located at 2240 North Scottsdale Road, Suite 8 in Tempe, is hosting an ouija board-themed art exhibit. Entitled “Wanna Ouija?” and scheduled to hang from October 16 through November 20, the exhibit doubles as a contest in which the determined-by-the-public, first-place winner scores a lucky someone two free meals per week for a year. The second-place prize — one free Tsoynami shake each week for a year — ain’t bad either.
The exhibit/competition is currently accepting entries in any and all mediums up to 8:30 p.m. October 15. A portion of the art sales will go towards Black Cat Rescue. For more information, check out www.greenvegetarian.com.
