It’s the time of year where people’s allegiance to that overgrown orange squash reaches a fever pitch. The Great Pumpkin Festival brings together those Linuses yearning for an old school fall shindig on Thursday, October 25.

If a hayride doesn’t put you in the mood, there’s the Amazing Hay Bale Maze where you can completely get lost in the harvest vibe. Carnival-style games, arts and crafts for the kiddos, and a petting zoo will keep busy-bodies occupied. Tunes from Phoenix bluegrass bands Pick & Holler and the Hey Boyz will fill the air, as well as country-Western sounds spun by DJ Dana (of Yucca Tap Room’s Valley Fever).
