Starting this Saturday, PHX Art Lab is hosting week and daylong arts and crafts camps — we’re just disappointed big kids can’t join in on the fun (though they promise adult classes are coming).
Classes are for 8 to 16 year olds and run 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Check out camp subjects and more details after the jump.
The art lab’s weeklong classes ($195) range from metalwork and science (think crafts and investigations with bugs, CSI and DNA) as well as masquerade- and environment-themed projects. They’re also open for Saturday classes ($45), which include gardening, experiments with light and photosynthesis, music and music making, and monoprinting.
Classes include lunch and extended care is available — you just might end up with a few more projects on the fridge.
PHX Art Lab is on Seventh Street, just north of Osborn. Registration can be done online at www.phxartlab.com
