What do bakers from more than 35 local restaurants and hundreds of drooling locals have in common? A love of the big, fat, frosted cupcake.
Sunday marks the second annual Cupcake Love-in, a celebration of “peace, love, and cupcakes,” and a fundraiser for local charities. This year’s throwdown (yes, there will be a mass judging of the dainty cakes), eating contest, and decorating party is at the Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 East Main Street in Scottsdale, and all proceeds will benefit entral Arizona Shelter Services.
