We’ll spare you the eye roll-worthy, overused jokes about getting lei’d. Suffice to say there’s a luau going down this weekend, and if you happen to sport a flowery garland around your neck, we won’t bat an eye or sneak a smirk.

Harold’s Cave Creek Corral will host a Hawaiian Luau and Pig Roast on Sunday, September 4, sporting a spread that’s straight from the 50th state. “The menu includes smoked mahi-mahi, shrimp seafood casserole and traditional Hawaiian fare,” says Carrol Douglass, hostess at Harold’s. “We sell out every year.”

Hula dancers perform a traditional fire knife dance, and Phoenix-based reggae band Grantman and the Island will play during the food and culture-filled evening.
