The swanky and sinful Pussycat Lounge underwent a big-time renovation in August, hitting the F5 button on its décor and design scheme while all the college kids were away for the long, hot summer. There’s a new DJ booth, dance floor, and video screens inside the club, not to mention a brand-new night, to boot: Pinky Ring. Benjamin Cutswell, Death to the Throne, Bigie, and the other DJs of the popular Wednesday-night extravaganza have relocated their weekly wingding from downtown Phoenix to Old Town Scottsdale in order to expose shiny-shirted scenesters to Pinky Ring’s brand of music and partying. And what will they be playing? Cutswell says it’s a mix of electro, hip-hop, rock, and “other music that will make the ladies take their shirts off.” The men of the Valley thank you, Benjamin.
