Hey Phoenix, did you know we have a soccer team? Because we totally do! With cleats and shin guards and everything! They’re called the Phoenix FC (which we’ve been told stands for “football club”), its nickname is the Wolves, and they’ve been playing games at the remodeled Sun Devil Soccer Stadium since March. While they haven’t won many of those games (the team is 1-3-1 so far), the chance to see some red cards and yell “GOOOAAAALLLLL!” as our city’s new team takes on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds should be enough to draw anyone out for a match.
