Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair – take your assumptions about fashion photography and throw them out the window, because local artist David Miller delivers his own unique twist. The photographer, who started his career back in 1997 with an associate’s degree in commercial photography and a bachelor’s in fine art photography, has shown his works in galleries nationwide and brings his innovative aesthetic back to the Valley with his show “The Fine Art Photography of David Miller.” Infusing the elements of fashion photography with strong hints of cinema, song, mythology, dreams, history, and more, Miller creates a portfolio that is as dynamic as it is distinctive.
The exhibition is on display at Vision Galley, 10 East Chicago Street in Chandler, through September 7. Hours Saturday, August 17, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.visiongallery.org.
