$10,000

If you smell the cornflakes (or hot dogs or whatever) and look around (you know, figuratively) for Garrison Keillor and company on your radio dial every weekend, then please prep your eyes (literally) to read some good news.

The tales of Lake Wobegon will come to life as A Prairie Home Companion comes to Gammage Auditorium’s stage Saturday, January 19. That’s when Keillor, with his whistley, radio-ready voice, and now-famous red shoes, will perform the weekly sketch show along with his usual crew of folksy, midwestern humorists, live musicians, and very talented sound effects performers.

Sat., Jan. 19, 3:45 p.m., 2013
