Are you not entertained? Then perhaps you should check out the Cerberus Cup, where long form comedy takes on a competitive edge. In this event, nine three-person improv teams go head to funny bone with 15 minute sketch performances that take regular improv to the next level. Ultimately, the audience will get the last laugh when their vote decides which team makes it to the finals.
The long haul for long form begins Friday, August 29, and runs through Saturday, August 30, at The Torch Theatre, 4721 North Central Avenue. Qualifying rounds run from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and finals begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday. General admission per show is $10, while a Friday night pass that includes admission to three qualifying rounds is $20, and an all-inclusive Cerberus Pass is $25.
