Maybe it’s the smell of popcorn, the mystery of a suddenly appearing striped tent, or maybe it has something to do with our love of Saving Silverman character Sandy, a trapeze-artist-gone-nun. Whatever the intrigue, there’s something simply thrilling about the arrival of a circus.
For the first time in years, Circus Vargas will pop up its gold and blue tent in Phoenix. Hosted by several traveling performer families, the circus features death-defying motorcycle stunts, aerial artists, comedic clown acts, and more. Animal-free and famous for its charm, the circus also features a trapeze show and a balancing act.
